The Baldwin PTSA Nominating Committee is recruiting candidates to serve as PTSA Officers for the 2024-2025 school year. The goal of the Nominating Committee is to enlist the talents of as many Baldwin parents, friends, and family members as possible. While you do not have to be nominated to run, the Nominating Committee encourages ALL who are interested in becoming an elected officer to submit an interest form. It is the responsibility of the Committee to thoroughly consider all potential candidates in making its nominations.
Officers will be elected at the PTSA General Membership meeting in May 2024. Officers serve a one-year term beginning in June and may be re-elected for a second one-year term.
President: Coordinates the work of officers and committees, presides at PTSA Board and General Membership meetings, and works closely with the Principal.
Vice President: Serves as aide to the President.
Treasurer: Responsible for all funds and maintaining accurate books and records. Authorized to sign on bank accounts. Presents a brief financial report at monthly Board and quarterly General Membership meetings.
Secretary: Attends all Board and General Membership meetings and takes minutes. Maintains all official records. Responsible for overseeing PTSA Membership Drive.
